We knew this day was coming, but it doesn’t make this any easier. The Supreme Court just struck down Roe v. Wade, erasing decades of progress and eliminating our constitutional right to abortion.

I’m devastated, furious, and scared – but more determined than ever to take action. 

There has never been a more pressing time to fight back by ensuring our elected leaders are committed to protecting the right to choose. Please, if you are able, can you chip in $5, $25, or whatever you can to defeat our anti-choice opponent and help us win this race?

Let’s be clear, the stakes for flipping NY-02 blue and defending the Democratic House majority have never been higher. 

Across the country, there are 13 “trigger states” that will immediately ban abortion in the first and second trimesters after this ruling – putting people seeking reproductive health care at risk. 

And we know that if Kevin McCarthy gets his hands on the Speaker’s gavel, the Republican Party will make it a priority to continue to strip Americans of abortion access for good nationwide. 

We’ll need all hands on deck to keep these anti-choice Republicans from winning the House majority and criminalizing decisions that should ONLY involve a person and their doctor. So, please friend, will you stand with me in fighting to flip this seat blue?
