Blake Masters is running for Senate in Arizona. And he wants to destroy our Social Security system by handing it over to Wall Street.
Masters, who is endorsed by Donald Trump, will likely be the Republican nominee to face Democratic Senator Mark Kelly this November. Earlier this week, he spoke at an event sponsored by FreedomWorks—a far-right group founded by the Koch brothers.
Masters told the audience: "We need fresh and innovative thinking. Maybe we should privatize Social Security.”1
“Innovative”?!
Turning Social Security over to Wall Street isn’t “innovative”—it’s a terrible idea that the American people roundly rejected when George W. Bush proposed it nearly 20 years ago. Now, we need to make sure that Arizona voters reject it once again.

Blake Masters, on the other hand, is a close associate of far-right billionaire Peter Thiel. Thiel and Masters hate Social Security and Medicare because they are popular and effective government programs—and they’ll do everything they can to destroy them. We need to make sure that Masters stays far away from the U.S. Senate.
