Folks,

Yesterday was horrible. A day that will live long in our memory as the first time in our lives that our children now officially will have fewer rights than their parents. It was made worse by the comments of our Governor, who laid out his plan to ban abortion after 15 weeks in Virginia.

Yesterday our rights were taken away by six cravenly partisan judges. One governor will attempt to strip them away at the state level as soon as he can.

Elections have consequences — and we’re seeing those consequences right now.

Pro-Choice Democrats aren’t giving up. Virginia Democrats aren’t giving up. We need you to stay in the fight too. This isn’t over in Virginia — the fight is just beginning. That’s why we’re asking you again. We need your support today, tomorrow, this year, next year, and for as long as Governor Youngkin is in office. Can we count on you to donate to protect reproductive rights in Virginia?

Glenn Youngkin promised to “go on offense” on abortion during the 2021 campaign and he’s going to do whatever he can to make good on that promise. Virginia Democrats are the only thing standing in his way. Please consider giving if you can. This is going to be a long fight, but the Democratic Party of Virginia is always here working to defend you and protect your rights.
