Team, after nearly 50 years of precedent guaranteeing women the fundamental right to choice and access to reproductive healthcare, the Supreme Court decided to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Most Ohioans and Americans believe abortion should remain legal, but that hasn't stopped J.D. Vance, Mike DeWine, and other Ohio Republicans from attacking reproductive rights. J.D. Vance has gone as far as to say rape is "inconvenient" when asked about his support of prohibiting abortion in cases of rape and incest.
This year’s election could not be more critical, and come November we must reject these attacks on reproductive rights.

Subject: Roe v. Wade was just overturned.
It is a sad day for our nation, team. The Supreme Court just released its official decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Since Politico first leaked the Court's draft decision to strike down Roe, millions of us agonized in fear and anxiety about what this would mean for women all across our country when it comes to our fundamental reproductive rights.
For almost 50 years, Roe has upheld the fundamental right for women in the United States to choose whether to have an abortion without excessive restriction from the government. Now, millions of American women will be living in an unfamiliar reality, where access to basic reproductive care will no longer be available.
Team, while it's easy and understandable for some of us to become discouraged about the future of women's rights, now is not the time to give up on our fight for equality. This November, we must do everything we can to elect pro-choice Democrats in our state and across the country.
