This has been a rough week. The conservative majority on the Supreme Court has upended our way of life.

They overturned Roe v. Wade, plunging our nation into uncertainty and turning back the clock on reproductive rights by half a century.
They invalidated common-sense gun laws, taking us backwards in our struggle to combat the uniquely American epidemic of gun violence.
They curtailed the fifth amendment by undermining Miranda rights.

We saw this day coming. We knew that the Republican plan to pack the court with right-wing ideologues was bearing fruit for them. That’s why I wrote and introduced the Judiciary Act, to unpack the court and rebalance its makeup.

And John, it’s working. My plan to add four justices to the Supreme Court is gaining momentum across the nation. But because it’s a good plan, Republicans are coming at me in force, trying to shoot down the idea. Will you make a contribution so we can continue the work to rescue the Supreme Court from itself?

My colleagues in Congress are joining me, adding themselves as co-sponsors to my court expansion bill. Issue groups and organizations are supporting the bill, because they’ve watched a rogue court endanger Americans over and over. They’re tired of it, and so am I.
