In a moment, I’m going to ask you to contribute $3 to our campaign to unseat Ken Calvert in California’s 41st District. As more data comes in from the primary, our chances of flipping this seat have never been better. Let me explain what I mean:

For the first time in the last decade, Calvert’s earned vote share in a primary election was below 50%. Meanwhile, the combined Democratic share vote was within 2% of surpassing Calvert. That margin has never been this narrow, and it’s clear Calvert is facing the toughest reelection fight of his career.

If you consider the fact that Calvert has been in office for 30 years, this is a huge feat. Remember, it wasn’t long ago that this district was considered a GOP stronghold. Democrats are gaining an edge, and 2022 is our year to take advantage.

This primary election taught us that voters in CA-41 are already rejecting Calvert’s brand of extremism -- whether it’s his cozy relationship with Donald Trump, his votes against women and their reproductive freedom, or his subservience to special interests like the NRA.

Our job is to make sure voters know there’s a viable alternative to Calvert. But doing this takes resources, and we’re depending on your support.
