After yesterday’s ruling, voters in Hennepin County could face a really bad choice in November for their top prosecutor.
On one side we have Tad Jude, an anti-abortion extremist who is running for county attorney so he can prosecute women and doctors. He’ll bring the GOP’s war on women to our front doors and work to further restrict women’s rights.
On the other side we have Mary Moriarty, who won't answer questions about defunding the police but has united all police defunding organizations and politicians behind her campaign. There's a reason they're with her - they see her as the next best hope to push their reckless agenda.
Hennepin County can’t afford any more extremists. That’s why it’s crucial that we have the resources to make sure Ryan eliminates at least one of these candidates in August’s primary and wins in November.
Will you chip in now to help Ryan stop the anti-abortion and the anti-law enforcement extremists on either side of him?
We can protect reproductive rights and make people safer in Hennepin County, but not with either of Ryan’s leading opponents.
Both would be a disaster for our county in their own way.
