I know everyone is horrified by the Supreme Court ruling that just struck down Roe v. Wade.

But I need to tell you about another ruling the Court just quietly released that should disturb each and every one of us.

In its first major gun case in over a decade -- the Court just officially made it easier to carry a HIDDEN firearm in public. I’m sick to my stomach.

This is a heartbreaking betrayal of justice for every precious soul who was just stolen from us in Buffalo and Uvalde. It’s a dangerous expansion of the 2nd Amendment at a time when we are literally BEGGING our leaders to enact common sense gun measures.

I will never understand how these hypocritical Justices were recently so afraid for their lives that they just increased their personal security, but what about the rest of us? But I do understand that the only way for us to get justice, is to replace every last gun-crazed, NRA-funded Republican with a strong Democrat who will have the guts to do what’s right. In response to this deadly ruling, I set an ambitious goal to raise 1,762 gifts before midnight to help elect Democrats in this pivotal election. Can I count on your $15 to make it happen? >>

After my precious nephew Alex was murdered in Parkland, I swore to turn my pain into action.

I started this organization -- Ban Assault Weapons NOW -- to honor his memory and help elect leaders who would ensure beautiful souls like Alex’s were never stolen by gun violence again.

Because if not even the Supreme Court will protect us from gun violence -- after Parkland, after Sandy Hook, after Uvalde -- we need to rise up like never before and elect the leaders who will.
