“Housing is at the center of inequality in our country, because it determines so many other things in your life.” — Tom.

Friend,

Millions of Americans are struggling to find affordable, safe, and secure housing. Years of underinvestment in affordable housing, a corporate takeover of our housing stock, and soaring rent in cities have devastated low- and middle-income families’ ability to own or rent homes.

The result: More people are forced onto the streets, and too many families are left on the financial brink. Tom’s Affordable Housing plan will tackle this problem by spurring the construction of new affordable developments, fighting homelessness, building family wealth, and creating climate-smart communities.

Can you chip in to Tom’s campaign in support of his plan to tackle housing inequality? $1 from you helps reach even more voters so he can continue to drive a national conversation about his vision for our future. [link removed]

Like many of the other challenges our country faces — inaccessibility of health care, rampant gun violence, climate instability, and pervasive corporate greed — the housing crisis requires a bold vision and bringing people together to see it through. Thank you for being a part of this important work.

We can fix this together,

Tom 2020
