Since multiple state legislatures have already passed anti-choice bills across the country, including trigger bans that outlaw abortion, we can expect more and more patients to travel across state lines to PA for abortion access.
And with a Republican-controlled state legislature here at home, we’re preparing for an even bigger wave of dangerous legislation to come out of Harrisburg. Republicans are emboldened to continue their attacks on reproductive freedom — targeting doctors, abortion providers, nonprofits, family, and friends of those who are seeking reproductive care. The PA GOP has already tried passing their own extreme abortion ban, which Governor Wolf vetoed.
Reproductive rights organizations like Planned Parenthood Action Fund are the last line of defense for Pennsylvanians as right-wing extremist politicians try to rip away our rights.
They need our support more than ever to fight back. It’s critical that we stand with them in their efforts to protect their patients and defend every Pennsylvanian’s right to choose.
