We knew it was coming – but that doesn’t make it any less infuriating, friend. Reproductive rights are human rights, and today five Republican members of the Supreme Court voted to take away people’s rights to make decisions about their bodies and their health.
 
But all is not lost, friend. We can persist in our fight for fundamental freedoms – and here's how:  

Right now, Rep. Val Demings is running for Senate in Florida. She's up against Marco Rubio, an extremist Republican if there ever was one – and someone whose anti-abortion stance would mean that he could join other Senate Republicans in supporting a nationwide abortion ban if they flip the Senate red in 2022.

As a senator, Val Demings would DEFEND Americans' right to safe and legal abortions. But that's where she needs your help, friend. Please, at this critical moment, would you donate $5 to split between Val Demings' campaign and American Bridge PAC to make sure we can expand our Democratic Senate majority – instead of giving in to GOP extremists?
