Take action today to stop their territories being invadedDear Jack,

Rita Piripkura, pictured above, survived massacres in which almost all her
relatives were killed. Today, she’s the only member of her tribe in regular
contact with outsiders.

Her brother and nephew, Baita and Tamandua, have stayed in the forest, choosing
to avoid contact with the outsiders who continue to invade their territory.

Rita fears that Baita and Tamandua will be killed if their territory is not
urgently protected.

Rita says: “There are lots of land grabbers around… If they kill them, there
won’t be anyone left.”

The Piripkura’s territory is shielded by a temporary Land Protection Order.
Loggers and cattle ranchers are already in their territory, and just waiting for
their chance to grab even more.

Other territories’ Orders have expired entirely, and the deforestation rate in
the Jacareuba/Katawixi territory increased by 60% last year.

Please email the Brazilian government now and ask them to renew all Land
Protection Orders, evict invaders, fully protect these territories, and
#StopBrazilsGenocide.
