Increased $1.8 Million Matching Opportunity

Dear John,

Can anyone truly measure the impact of this moment?

After 49 years, thousands of miles marched in D.C. by millions of advocates and survivors, and innumerable tear-filled prayers that only Heaven can count... Roe v. Wade has finally been overturned.

However, even such a triumphant moment is tinged with grief knowing that this day didn't come soon enough for the estimated 63 million babies who were "legally" aborted since 1973.

So, even as we rejoice to see the court's faulty reasoning in Roe and Casey tossed into the dustbin of history, let us remember these precious lives that were gone too soon. And let us recommit ourselves to the task before us of building a culture that values every human life upon the foundation of the transcendent truth that we are all created in the image of God and therefore have value.

The far Left and mainstream media want Americans to believe that this Supreme Court decision means the end of abortion. But, as you know, that is far from the truth.

Because now the decisions regarding abortion are returning back to your state, John. And while we are grateful for what the Lord has done in reversing Roe, we recognize that a new chapter in our efforts to defend lives in the womb is as important as ever. We have so much work to do!

To accelerate our mission, FRC must raise $3.6 Million before the deadline this Thursday, June 30 to finish our fiscal year strong and prepared to seize this historic opportunity to continue strengthening the pro-life movement across America.

That's why generous friends of FRC have increased the Challenge Match to $1.8 Million--meaning your gift can still have double the impact today!

Will you partner with us as we inspire believers to PRAY, VOTE, and STAND for biblical values and build a culture that values all human life?

DOUBLE MY GIFT NOW

In this post-Roe world, it will be up to state legislatures and governors to set the laws regarding whether babies are protected from abortion, and whether your state tax dollars will be sent to abortion facilities.

While some states have already prepared for the end of Roe with laws on the books to protect the unborn, other states--including some that might surprise you--have inadequate protections or none at all. Some, like New York and California, allow the killing of unborn babies all the way up to the day of birth!

These are just some of the over 1,500 laws that FRC's Government Affairs and Policy experts track every single year.

Family Research Council has compiled the complete picture at frc.org/prolifemaps, including other interactive maps illustrating where states stand on the issue of unborn life.

And don't count out the pro-abortion officials in the White House and Congress. They will continue to push executive orders and bills like the deceptively named Women's Health Protection Act--which should really be called the "Abortion on Demand Act"--which would have eliminated almost every state-level protection for the unborn and codified abortion-on-demand into federal law.

Thankfully, it has failed so far. But the far Left will be relentless in pushing their agenda.

We can never slow down or give up in standing for biblical principles.

FRC has long been preparing for this historic day. Our team is:

  • Educating courageous pro-life state legislators on policies that will make a difference in saving lives,
  • Informing citizens from coast to coast through our regular broadcasts on what's really going on,
  • Encouraging pastors through our Watchmen Pastors network to take a stand for the truth of Scripture regarding the value of every human life,
  • Inspiring Americans to support mothers and families in crisis by partnering with pregnancy resource centers and other frontline ministries, and
  • Equipping believers with in-depth resources and worldview materials to dialogue with friends and family on how to view this issue from a biblical perspective.

You see, legislation is not the most important aspect of protecting life after Roe.

Part of building a culture of life in America is ensuring that no mother feels like she is so alone that her only option is abortion. The church bears a responsibility in upholding the truth of God in both word and deed.

James described "pure and undefiled" religion as "to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world" (James 1:27).

When those words were written in the first century, orphans and widows were the most vulnerable--without relatives to rely on or the means to support themselves. The same vulnerability describes many women with crisis pregnancies today. James adds that, if you wish someone well but don't provide for their physical needs, "what good is that?" (James 2:15-16).

The church in America has a great opportunity to show the love of Christ to those most in need. Will we squander it or rise to the occasion?

Your gift today will accelerate and amplify our mission to equip believers to make a difference in this hour.

DOUBLE MY IMPACT

I urge you to take time today to turn off the news and the noise of social media and just pray. Thank the Lord for this incredible turning point for our nation.

But let us also pray for repentance and revival in our nation, so that we will see not just a policy change but a true turning of hearts back to God.

We at FRC are so grateful that you are standing with us in this critical hour. May this be the dawning of a new day in America for the sake of our children and our children's children. May God bless you as you serve Him!
