The?*Seattle Pride Parade [ [link removed] ]?is back Sunday, June 26*, and large crowds are expected to attend and honor our LGBTQIA+ community.?
The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Fourth Avenue at Pike Street and travels north to Second Avenue and Denny Way. *From about 7 a.m. until about 5 p.m., Fourth Avenue in downtown Seattle will be affected by street closures and traffic congestion associated with the parade.* Transit service will be rerouted off Fourth Avenue. King County Metro bus routes *4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 24, 26, 28, 33, 36, 40, 43, 47 and 66* and Sound Transit bus routes *ST 522, ST 545 and ST 554* will be affected by this event. Several Public Demonstrations Planned this Weekend

With the announcement of the ruling by the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, a number of large-scale public demonstrations will take place in our region beginning Friday, June 24. Buses will operate near several planned demonstrations, be prepared for these impacts and allow extra time when you travel.?Please expect delays in and around the downtown core and several other areas.

*The City of Seattle will open the Northeast 43rd Street westbound bus-only lane this Saturday, June 25.?*King County Metro *Routes 20, 44, 49, 70 and 372*?will soon be?accessing a brand-new bus stop, connecting thousands of daily transit riders directly to and from the front door of *Sound Transit?s U District Station.* This exciting new development is thanks to a brand-new Seattle bus-only lane and clean, green overhead wires to power our electric trolley buses.
