We may be down but we are not out.
I have been an activist for more than 45 years and this is definitely one of the worst days of my experience. But for me and for PowerPAC we know that we fight on. We may need to scream and berate some random conservative today but we then prepare for tomorrow.
Please know that PowerPAC will fight on and reverse this course. We will still fight at the state level. We will still fight to defend the right for women and families to choose. I am old enough to know what it was like before Roe v. Wade. We will not go back to those dark days. We move forward . It may take us a minute but we will find ways to protect our daughters, sisters, and friends to choose freely and without fear of retribution.
There is an intense fight for leadership in this country.
Losing a presidential election leads to reseating the Supreme Court which leads to throwing our rights out the window. But we can reverse this by building our community activism to fight for the issues we hold dear . We can reverse this by electing better leaders . We can reverse this by rejecting unjust laws and taking action to protect our communities .
We will fight! And we will never give up!
