Six judges appointed by Republicans have ended a nearly 50-year-old constitutional right to legal abortion – a right that most of us have had for our entire lifetimes.

With the Supreme Court abandoning nearly 50 years of judicial precedent, our only chance at protecting abortion access is to codify it into federal law.
