Before joining Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan’s campaign, I worked at EMILY’s List, fighting on the front lines against the national Republican assault on abortion rights.

I’m not going to lie: Today’s Supreme Court decision is devastating. Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are now the last line of defense for abortion rights in Minnesota. 

Scott Jensen and Matt Birk, our rabidly anti-choice GOP opponents, have pledged to enact a Texas-style abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest if they’re elected – even though it’s against the wishes of an overwhelming majority of Minnesotans.

The latest public polling shows our race in a statistical dead-heat, so I can’t emphasize this enough: Jensen and Birk will win this race if we don’t give the next four months everything we’ve got.


That’s why I’m reaching out tonight. Our most important end-of-quarter deadline yet is just over five days away, and we’re still more than $35,000 short of our goal. According to our fundraising team, you’ve yet to donate to our campaign yet this year, so I wanted to ask directly:
