Friend,
"This is a return to the Dark Ages."
That's what a longtime friend and Common Dreams' ally said to me in
the minute following today's horrific ruling by the U.S. Supreme
Court.
One of my sisters wrote me just a moment later, asking: "What can I do?
I feel sick."
In the other room, my wife was explaining to our 10-year-old daughter
what the decision could mean. My daughter asked: "Who would want to
control someone else's body like that?"
This attack is visceral. People across this country are filled with
