The decision today in the Dobbs case will earn a place in history among the worst decisions our Supreme Court has ever handed down. It eliminates women's reproductive rights that were affirmed in Roe v. Wade and codifies the extreme beliefs of a minority of our country.

Their goal is simple and disturbing: The subjugation of women.

We must stand for freedom and restore the rights of women across our country. In the meantime, I am committed to ensuring that Hennepin County will not be a part of this new order.

As your next Hennepin County Attorney, I will ensure that our county's resources are in no way used to enforce the Dobbs decision. Beyond that, I will ensure that women coming to our county for reproductive health services are protected from reprisals to the greatest extent that I can.
