John, Today’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision is historic. This is a victory for state rights, the Constitution, and, above all, the sanctity of human life. Nearly fifty years after the incorrect Roe v. Wade decision, the power of states to legislate their values has finally returned to legislatures across the country.
I have always been an unapologetic advocate for the rights of the unborn. I even had the opportunity to speak at a rally in front of the Supreme Court when the case was being argued in front of the Justices. I supported overturning Roe because we need to protect the most vulnerable in our society and uphold the basic right to life. |
While we should undoubtedly be celebrating today’s watershed moment, we must also be on guard for the vitriol and unpredictable retribution from the radical left. Left-wing politicians have already called for expanding the Supreme Court, impeaching Justice Kavanaugh, and getting rid of the filibuster in the United States Senate. These radical proposals have been accompanied by violent rhetoric from the Left. Abortion groups and activists have already targeted churches and pro-life centers and have been illegally protesting in front of the Justices’ homes. As I’m sure you know, John, there has even been an assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh's life. The needless violence has to stop. John, thank you for being a part of our team and for defending our most basic and precious right: the right to life. With gratitude, |
