Dear John xxxxxx,

To my fellow New Yorkers, today is a very difficult day for our country and I wanted to reach out to offer my support and some critical information for anyone who is struggling to process what this means for you and your family.

As you can imagine, I am deeply outraged by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe V. Wade. You can read my full statement here.

Today’s decision to strip away the constitutional right to an abortion is heart wrenching, but abortion is still LEGAL in New York. In addition, New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Democratic state lawmakers are working to implement several measures that will help protect and expand abortion care in New York. 

For those seeking care in New York, there will be NO penalty or punishment for scheduling or showing up to an appointment.
