Dear John,

If you have been thinking of supporting EMET - the voice of the truth about Israel and the Middle East on Capitol Hill - now is the time to act!

Thanks to a generous, anonymous donor who has pledged to match donations received by the end of Giving Tuesday, your donation will have an even greater impact, funding our vital mission on Capitol Hill.

Every day, EMET meets with Congressional staff on Capitol Hill educating and updating them about U.S. national interests in the Middle East. But EMET is not all talk and no action… our briefings have resulted in one success after another, making a real impact for both Israel and the U.S. Here are just a few examples:

  • EMET led the successful effort for passage of the Taylor Force Act, long before it was popular. This law reduces much of the U.S. ‘economic’ aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) and it will not resume until the PA halts its pay-to-slay policy of rewarding terrorists or their families for the murder of innocents.
  • EMET made a compelling case to the Administration and Congress to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of existential importance to Israel and a strategic asset for Israel to contain radical Islam from spreading west. This effort was realized earlier this year.
  • EMET has worked tirelessly to block the Islamist nation of Turkey from receiving the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter – a weapon which Turkey could use against Israel or the U.S., especially with its acquisition of Russian made S-400 anti-aircraft missiles.
  • EMET has long been educating Congress about the dangers of the U.S. supplying military aid to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), which is dominated by Hezbollah - the terror group that prior to 9/11 had killed more Americans than any other group. Just recently, the Trump administration suspended the U.S. military aid to the LAF.
  • EMET has been educating Congress and the Administration about taxpayer-funded federal grants to Middle East Studies programs on college campuses, many of which have strayed from their mission and instead foments hatred of the U.S. and Israel, while actively promoting anti-Semitism. EMET is working on a solution to this malfeasance.
  • EMET has long been advocating for justice for American victims of Palestinian terrorism – of whom Taylor Force was one. Our efforts directly resulted in the opening of the Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism (DOJ/OVT), whose mandate is to track murderers of Americans anywhere in the world ensure they stand trial in the U.S.
  • EMET has and continues to educate Congressmen and their Hill Staff regarding the importance of supplying military and humanitarian support for our Kurdish allies in Iraq and Syria who, like Christians, Yazidis, and other minorities, have and continue to face genocide inflicted by Islamist forces on all fronts, including Turkey.

As a result of EMET’s briefings, we have well-earned our reputation as the “go-to-people” on Capitol Hill for Senators, Members of House Representatives, their Staff, and the Trump Administration personnel on matters related to Israel and the Middle East.

For the sake of Israel, the U.S., and Western civilization as we know it, please invest in EMET. Please contribute as generously as you can and allow EMET to take full advantage of this matching grant.

Please don’t allow this opportunity to slip away. Donate today.

Invest in EMET. Invest in the Truth.

Thank you very much,
