Immediate Opportunities at ILCM:

ILCM is hiring a full-time Legal Assistant at our St. Paul Office.  The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing immigration legal assistance to low-income immigrants and refugees. The Legal Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties, including drafting client and legal correspondence, preparing and sending immigration forms, obtaining support documents, conducting research, answering phones, screening new clients, communicating with attorneys, and clients. The Legal Assistant will work out of the St. Paul Office, but there is some flexibility to work out of ILCM's Austin, Moorhead, or Worthington offices.  

Additionally, ILCM is looking to sponsor an Equal Justice Works Fellow or other Post-Graduate Fellow for fall 2023. ILCM plans to select applicants for sponsorship by the beginning to middle of August. ILCM and the applicant will together develop a fellowship proposal that meets the needs of the community and ILCM and the skills and interests of the applicant. If the sponsored applicant is selected for a fellowship, ILCM expects that they will accept and complete the fellowship. Most post-graduate fellowships are two years.
