Like many of you, I am deeply saddened by the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and effectively upend nearly 50 years of progress at the hands of far-right judges.

Despite this decision, the majority of Ohioans believe a woman has the right to reproductive freedom – including the right to safe and legal abortion.

I have always – and will always – stand up for the full range of reproductive health care. I continue to stand alongside the majority of Americans who firmly believe that the choice to have an abortion is a fundamental right, and is a decision that should be left between a woman and her doctor.

Governor Mike DeWine is proud to be fervently anti-choice. DeWine has already directed Ohio’s attorney general to institute one of the most extreme bans on abortion in the country once the Supreme Court decision is finalized.

The midterm elections this November will ultimately be make or break for reproductive rights in Ohio. While DeWine is actively working to tear down reproductive rights, as your governor, I will stand with the majority of Ohioans who believe in access to safe, legal abortion.

It could not be more crucial that we elect a pro-choice governor in Ohio – but I need your help to win in November. Split a contribution between my campaign and the Ohio Democratic Party to help me defeat Mike DeWine.
