BREAKING: The Supreme Court rules to overturn Roe v Wade.

This is a direct attack on the essential freedoms of millions of Americans. Trump’s conservative Supreme Court struck down a nearly 50-year precedent – and it will disproportionately affect low-income folks, women, and people of color who will bear the brunt of this decision.

We can’t reverse the damage the Supreme Court and Republicans have done to our fundamental rights. But what we can do is continue to fight for reproductive rights to lessen this devastating blow. Out-of-state travel is not an option for so many Americans. Many people seeking abortions are already parents that cannot pay for childcare if they were to leave the state for a medical procedure and cannot afford to lose wages by taking time off work.

Extremists in state legislatures have already begun to enact policy to effectively make abortion access extinct, from the south to the midwest.

In fact, thirteen states already have laws on the books to ban access to safe abortion and that number is likely to rise.

Folks, this is a hard day for all of us. American lives are at risk.
