That Subject Line was Meant to Scare You by Showing You a Very Real Possibility.

Hmm... A San Diego County Completly Run by Democrats is in Your Future.
The only way to stop that future is if YOU TAKE ACTION and
challenge them for office!

Dear Jack,

While many San Diegans slow down during the summer, we at the Republican Party of San Diego County are focused on fielding candidates for over 180 local offices up for election this November, and we need YOUR help to fill them.

At the bottom of this email, we list 180 (!!!) offices that currently have a democrat candidate NOT CONTESTED by a Republican. In other words. If we don’t file anyone for these seats THE UNION-BACKED LIBERAL DEMOCRAT WILL WIN BY DEFAULT!

This is unacceptable.

If you’ve ever thought “I could do better,” “Someone ought to do something,” or “the Party should do this or that,” we’re appealing to you to STEP UP. If not now, when? If not you, who?

Running for a local office is not complicated and WE WILL HELP YOU. Quite frankly, if you’re reading this and you know how to balance your checkbook you’re probably plenty more qualified than the liberal candidate. And when we did this drill on a smaller scale two years ago we picked up 88 elected offices won by default.

THE LAST DAY TO REQUEST AN ENDORSEMENT IS JULY 17th!

The “Honorable Jack xxxxxx” has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?

Ready to take action?

STEP ONE
Look at the open seats and request the endorsement for the office sought.

STEP TWO
View the Registrar of Voters’ “Candidate Filing Guide” [PDF] on how to get your name on the ballot! Note: Filing for candidacy opens on July 18, and closes on Friday, August 12 so time is of the essence.

STEP THREE
Request the OFFICIAL Republican Party of San Diego County endorsement. WE NEED YOUR ENDORSEMENT REQUEST BY JULY 17th!

STEP FOUR
Please forward this to others who might be interested. Share it with organizations you belong to.

It’s that simple!

Jack, our great nation depends on patriots stepping up to maintain our freedoms and ensure prosperity for future generations. In San Diego County we want EVERY OFFICE to be held by a Republican who will advance our proud conservative principles rooted in faithful adherence to the Constitution and promoting individual freedoms.

Remember, in the list below nearly 200 (!!!) Democrats stand to win by default. That is simply unacceptable. Will you step up?

IMPORTANT
If you are an incumbent Republican up for reelection in November, please disregard the above call to service – you are already “in the arena” – but DO request the Party’s endorsement NOW so we can help you!

Respectfully,

Jordan Gascon
Executive Director
