This morning, the Supreme Court’s right-wing majority overturned
Roe v. Wade — erasing half a century of precedent and robbing millions of our fundamental right to make our own choices about our healthcare, our bodies, and our futures.
When Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans stole the Supreme Court from the American people, ending abortion rights as we know them was always their goal. Even though we knew this day was coming, it doesn’t make it any less devastating.
This radical decision by this illegitimate Court will have catastrophic consequences. It endangers the health and lives of millions of people. This is an enraging moment — and a time for us to funnel that rage into action.
