Dear john,
Today, the Supreme Court scored the most foundational victory for life in decades, ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey are unconstitutional.
TWEET: Life wins!
After nearly 50 years, Roe no longer has a foothold in America. No longer can the radical left use Roe as an excuse for ending life in this country.
"Every human life is sacred, including the unborn," I said in a statement applauding the Supreme Court’s decision. "This decision is a foundational victory for our nation, allowing us to more perfectly carry out the promises Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. In nearly 50 years since Roe, nearly 63 million lives have been lost to government-sanctioned killings – a barbaric practice of ripping babies from their mothers’ wombs."
"Now, Roe v. Wade will finally be joining Dredd Scott and Plessy v. Ferguson where it belongs, in the ash heap of history."
TWEET: Thank you, President Trump.
It’s worth noting that today was only made possible by President Donald J. Trump. In 2016, Trump promised to nominate conservative Justices to the court who would protect the sanctity of life. Facing constant criticism from the media and political establishment alike, he stuck to his promise and gave us three Justices who would protect the unborn when the moment called for it.
The conservative Justices on the court also deserve a great deal of recognition. They faced an unprecedented judicial intimidation campaign to reverse course. Protestors showed up to their homes and Justice Kavanaugh even faced an assassination attempt against him and his family.
"Never has there been a Supreme Court decision leak such as this one and shame on President Biden and Congressional Democrats for being silent about such a horrific act of judicial intimidation," I said.
President Biden in particular was most disgraceful, not saying a word when the lives of Justice Kavanaugh and his family were threatened. "The President of the United States said nothing as mobs showed up at Justices’ homes, nor again when there was as an assassination attempt against Justice Kavanaugh and his family. Today is a day to celebrate the protection of human life, but we should not forget the radical left’s dreadful attempts at preventing it from happening."

2A Not a Second-Class Right
While this week saw a major victory for life, the Supreme Court also delivered a major victory for our Second Amendment rights, as yesterday the Justices struck down a New York gun-control law that required people to show "proper cause" to get a license to carry outside the home.
TWEET: Huge win for #2A, Senate Republicans should take note.
The decision came as some Senate Republicans betrayed their voters, teaming up with Democrats to take away guns from law-abiding Americans. Some have heralded those Senators as courageous for doing so, but there is nothing courageous about turning against Americans they were supposed to be representing.
Simply put, those Senate Republicans need to read the room and follow the Supreme Court’s lead. Americans want life and their rights protected. Real courage was on display by the Justices who voted to uphold both, and by the President who nominated them.
POLITICO: “It’s a betrayal of Republican voters.”
