Federal abortion rights were never constitutional.
Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, each state gets to decide whether to allow the heinous act of ending the life of a precious, vulnerable human being.
I want you to know that I am unequivocally pro-life.
Science and data prove that a new life, a new body, and a new strain of DNA begins at conception.
Everyone is endowed with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, including the unborn.
The fight is just beginning. Now, it is time to work on making Michigan a pro-life state.
As governor, I will work with the legislature and pro-life Michiganians to implement life-affirming policies, so that women do not see abortion as their only recourse.
I will fight until we remove this scourge of abortion from the State of Michigan.
Will it be easy? No.
Pro-aborts will come after you for your pro-life beliefs. They will riot, censor, dox and otherwise threaten you.
They will rage against the dying of this evil, but they have already lost, and they know it.
We may lose some battles, but in the end, we will win the war.
