John,

A woman’s right to choose has been settled law for almost 50 years and today, the precedent from Roe v. Wade protecting this right was overturned. This decision will have a devastating effect on the lives of millions of people.

In my time in the Senate, I have often witnessed the tenacious commitment of those who prioritize rolling back reproductive rights above everything else, including job creation, education advancement, and supporting vulnerable communities.

Today, we see the end result of this conservative campaign and we now live in a reality where there is no fundamental right to choose, women will face more barriers than ever to access reproductive healthcare, and states will criminalize women seeking healthcare.

Women’s reproductive health choices should be between them and their doctors, and politicians should not be standing in the way. Congress should ensure that women and families have access to safe and affordable reproductive health care, no matter their income level or where they live.

As elected officials, it is our duty to protect the rights of women and their families to make their own private healthcare decisions. Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, it is up to Congress to ensure accessible and affordable reproductive care for all Americans.

Now more than ever, protecting access to reproductive rights is a priority. I promise to continue the fight and continue working to protect and expand the pro-choice majority. If you stand with me, sign this petition >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
