It is heartbreaking to us to have to send out this message regarding the overturning of Roe and Casey. This ruling is going to affect the most vulnerable of us. Cutting off access to abortion rights will hurt low-income, Black, and brown people the most. The overturning of Roe is a violent act of systemic anti-Blackness from our federal government. We must be grounded in community and support one another to protect each other from this act of violence committed by our government.
