Friends,,
Today, six justices on the Supreme Court disregarded fifty years of settled law and overturned Roe v Wade.
Today is a catastrophic day for millions of women in America who have just lost their right to make their own choices about their reproductive health.
Overturning Roe won’t end abortion – it ends safe and legal abortion in twenty six states in this country, and will further marginalize women of color, urban and rural communities, people living paycheck to paycheck and more.
I don’t blame you if you’re feeling discouraged. But we know the only way to combat what’s happening is to take meaningful action, because the stakes for November’s election just got higher.
