This morning, the Supreme Court officially overturned Roe v. Wade -- a 50-year precedent protecting a woman's constitutional right to safe and legal abortion.

The effects of this ruling will be devastating to the health and well-being of countless women who are now forced into the shadows as they seek to make their own decisions about their body and their health care.

Not only is this an un-American attack on our fundamental liberties, it's dangerous and ruthless.

Let me be clear: This is not the time to waver -- we need action now. The Congress, Senate, and White House that you helped install need to step up and protect the right to safe and legal abortions.

This is also a critical moment for the American people to send a strong message that we will not go back. The 2022 midterms are around the corner, and we will vote to protect our constitutional rights.
