Friend, for years, I’ve said it was time for Roe v. Wade to go. That ruling — issued by seven lawyers in robes in 1973 — is a Constitutional travesty. It’s also a moral travesty.

Our nation’s highest principle is that every person has the right to life. But millions of lives have been denied that right since Roe v. Wade was decided.

One year ago next week, I gave a speech to the National Right to Life Committee.

At the time, I said: “When Roe falls, a great injustice will be rectified, a great rebuke to our nation’s values will be reconciled, and millions of innocent souls will be saved.”

Friend, that moment has arrived. Today, the United States Supreme Court sent Roe v. Wade to the dustbin of history.

For years, pro-life activists have prayed and worked for this moment. And the work hasn’t been easy. In the face of an often uncaring and hostile culture, being pro-life usually means choosing the hard right over the easy wrong.

That work, however, is well worth it. Because every life has potential, and the right to life is, as I said, our nation’s highest principle. This decision will save lives.

And while we celebrate this momentous ruling — we also must remember that the fight to protect life goes on.

The pro-life movement started before Roe v. Wade itself. Its work will not be complete until we’ve built a Culture of Life strong enough to defeat the abortion lobby’s Culture of Death, so that every child is welcomed into the world with compassion and love.

To continue defending life, we must support and elect conservatives who won’t back down in the face of attacks from the mob. I’m humbly asking you to join me in this effort by signing your name now.

DEFEND LIFE

I’ll continue to pray for the millions of lives lost since Roe v. Wade was decided, and I’ll continue fighting to protect the unborn and the fundamental right to life of every human being.

I hope you’ll continue to stand with me. And I hope you’ll join me in thanking our Supreme Court Justices for their bravery, and praying for them and their families.

In service,

Keep Reading For A Personal Note From Tom:

Thank you for standing with me, Friend. I know we email a lot, but these updates are crucial in our fight to take back the U.S. Senate and defend America’s Founding Principles.

Democrats are flooding battleground states across the country with millions in cash raised from coastal elites and liberal donors, which means this could be the most expensive election cycle in history.

Every single dollar helps ensure we’ll have the resources to stay in the fight and win back the majority.

Please stand with me and chip in whatever you can.

In service,

Tom Cotton
