John, there are no words, this is a very dark day for our country.
The Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade is a devastating blow to civil liberties and a person’s right to make choices about their own bodies.
And they are not finished.
Already, Clarence Thomas is urging the court to reconsider Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell– decisions that protect contraception, same-sex relationshipos, and same-sex marriage.

As an organizer, I have spent years fighting to defend and advance reproductive rights:
When I was with the ACLU, I helped convince President Biden to support overturning the Hyde Amendment, legislation that has limited abortion access for millions of people.
When Ron DeSantis and the Florida GOP have already passed legislation that outlaws abortion at 15 weeks, I personally went to Tallahassee to testify against it.
And when I win this seat, I promise I will do everything I can to pass federal legislation that will codify abortion rights.
