The unthinkable has happened. The Supreme Court has ended the constitutional right to abortion after nearly 50 years, opening the floodgates for states to further restrict access to abortion. This decision will have a devastating impact on human rights. Tides is calling on our community to provide critical resources to organizations that are actively working to protect abortion access and reproductive rights. How to Right the Balance in “David vs. Goliath” Legal Battles for Environmental Justice

Whether the fight is against the U.S. government, deep-pocketed corporations, or banks, community-led organizations are finding themselves in classic David-versus-Goliath standoffs. Tides' newly established Frontline Justice Fund aims to right the balance and center the voices of these organizations that are fighting for basic rights — clean air, clean water, and other environmental protections — to combat environmental racism inflicted on BIPOC communities.
