Team Castelli Weekly Newsletter
From the Trail
Last week, Matt met with voters in Gloversville, Tupper Lake, Greenwich, and Glens Falls. We've been closely following the January 6th hearings, and encourage everyone, regardless of party affiliation, to watch them as well. The campaign also introduced several new policy plans to our website, including thoughtful ideas to reduce costs for working families and invest in economic growth. Check them out at castelliforcongress.com! ([link removed])

We're working hard to stay available across the district - if you'd like to set up an event or if you know of an event Matt should attend, please reach out to our team. (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Getting%20Involved&body=I'm%20interested%20in%20getting%20involved%20with%20Team%20Castelli!)

🚨 Petitioning 🚨
We are in the final days of petitioning and we need your help to run through the tape!

Join us for our "27 By The 27th Challenge": can you collect 27 signatures from your family, friends, and neighbors by June 27th so that we can put Matt on the Moderate Party line?

Only together can we hit our goal and make sure that Matt has a second line for voters to join our coalition on. Please, if you are able to join us in going out into your community this weekend to spread Matt's message of "Country Before Party," reach out to out to r (mailto:[email protected]) [email protected] ([link removed] ) to help carry petitions.

Social Media
We've been getting our message out on social media. Be sure to follow us on Twitter ([link removed]) , Facebook ([link removed]) , and Instagram ([link removed]) for the most up to date items from the campaign.

This week we focused on Juneteenth, the public testimony provided in the January 6th hearings, and our new policy priorities to reduce costs for working families in the North Country.

In the Press
We've been getting our message out in the press as well:

June 23, 2022 NNY360 "Stefanik promises to vote against bipartisan gun control bill ([link removed]) "
Matt Castelli, a Democrat running for Stefanik’s seat, said he supports the Second Amendment and this Senate bill.

“The bipartisan gun safety legislation expected to pass the Senate will help keep kids and communities safe by focusing on measures that are widely agreed upon by lawful gun owners and those of us who support the Second Amendment, including new funding for mental health and school safety, cracking down on illegal trafficking and measures to keep firearms out of the hands of domestic abusers and those who pose a danger to themselves or others,” Castelli wrote in a statement. “While the bill has wide bipartisan support, including from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Elise Stefanik has once again rejected common sense solutions, putting her extremism and financial self-interest ahead of the safety and security of our kids and our communities.”
Looking Ahead
With 137 days until Election Day in November, and the stakes of this race for the future of our nation - there is no time to waste. Get involved today by reaching out to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

Don't forget to get out and vote in Tuesday's Governor & Lt. Governor Primaries! Early voting is open until Sunday, 6/26.
We'll see you out on the trail,

Team Castelli
