The Supreme Court just rolled back decades of human rights — this is devastating for our country.
The overturn of Roe v. Wade is a matter of life or death for millions of Americans. We must be on the right side of history. We must stand up for reproductive rights. And we cannot give up on this fight.

I have always stood up for reproductive rights and always will. From working to pass the country's first state-level law protecting Roe to voting to codify the law in Congress, I'm committed to the fight for abortion rights.

The 2021 Women's Health Protection Act — codifying Roe v. Wade into law — demonstrates the House's commitment to taking action to protect reproductive freedom. However, the Senate won't act , and Republicans are working to take freedom and bodily autonomy away from half of our population — which is why so much is riding on November's election .

John: We can restore Roe on Day 1 of the 118th Congress, but we must protect the Democratic House majority and elect at least two more Democratic Senators willing to scrap the outdated filibuster and protect women's rights. We need to fight together to make sure this happens.
There is not a single state where the majority of voters support a federal abortion ban. It's critical we make our voices heard loud and clear.
