Dear Friend,
I’m outraged by the Supreme Court’s [[link removed]] decision to overrule Roe v Wade . And I am ready for the work ahead.
I am committed to fight for the rights of women to have control over their own bodies, including the decision to have an abortion and access reproductive health care services. Thankfully, Colorado passed the Reproductive Health Equity Act this spring to protect access to safe and legal abortions at the state level. I supported this important bill at the Capitol and I will tirelessly defend it going forward.
My commitment to reproductive rights includes protecting women whose home states have criminalized abortion care. Likewise, I will protect all Colorado physicians who perform them.
I am honored to work with the organizations that work tirelessly to protect women’s access to reproductive health care and abortion services here in Colorado. I’m particularly grateful to NARAL, Cobalt, and COLOR, who have all endorsed me to continue protecting safe and legal abortion access, bodily autonomy, and equality in our state.

My opponent has a different agenda. He’s refused to stand up for Coloradans’ reproductive rights. He’s silent on whether he would uphold our law ensuring abortion access. And as extremists push to ban abortion in Colorado and around the country, my opponent won’t say whether he’d support prosecuting women and their doctors who provide these basic health services. While Coloradans have repeatedly rejected efforts to criminalize abortion, my opponent’s silence on whether he will stand up for equality and freedom tells us all we need to know.
In this campaign, Colorado will face the question whether we have an AG who will defend a woman’s right to autonomy over her body and Colorado’s reproductive freedom laws in court. And whether we have an AG ready for the battles ahead, including to protect access to abortion, birth control, marriage equality, and other fundamental freedoms.
SInce working with Justice Ruth Ginsburg as a law clerk, I have continued to defend our freedoms and civil rights over my career. I am committed to continuing this work in a second term and need your help to continue serving as AG. Please consider donating to my campaign so I can do so.
