Hey NRDC Activist — it's me again.
In case you missed it, my friends at NRDC just shared some incredible news: The response to Giving Tuesday has been overwhelming. They met their goal early, and now they've got a NEW one.
If they can get 500 more people to pitch in over the next eight hours or so, they'll unlock $50,000 more for the environment!
I'm determined to help them raise every single freakin' penny they possibly can. The future of our planet relies on them fighting for it, and your support. Which is why I'm reaching out one last time — your donation could be the one to put them over the top and unlock an extra $50,000. (I made another one, too, just in case.)

I've joined NRDC's board and I'm standing with them to fight for our planet this Giving Tuesday.

Dear NRDC Activist,
I'm a mother, an actor, and a former pretend vice president — but today, I'm reaching out to you as a new NRDC board member. And I have one simple message:
Our environment's in deep trouble. And NRDC needs our help to save it.
President Trump and his pals are undoing decades of progress that has kept our air and water clean and our wildlife thriving (what are they thinking?!).
Thankfully, NRDC is fighting back hard. They're defending our bedrock environmental laws in Washington, protecting communities like yours and mine, and winning in the courts. But they've got their work cut out for them and they need our support.
So here's where you and I come in: Today they have an incredible opportunity to unlock $200,000 in critical funds if 5,000 people pitch in with a donation before midnight.
