We’re absolutely appalled.

The Supreme Court just voted to officially OVERTURN Roe v. Wade.

Let us be clear: With this decision, the Supreme Court has upended the lives of MILLIONS overnight -- and destroyed nearly 50 years of established precedent.

But our fight for reproductive rights didn’t begin, and can’t end, with the Supreme Court -- because radical, anti-choice Republicans are the ones who brought us here.

They politicized essential, life-saving reproductive health care.

They packed the courts with fringe, far-right judges who are out of step with the American people.

And they have enacted outrageous abortion bans in states all across the country to lay the groundwork for this moment.

So even though the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, House Democrats will continue to fight for reproductive freedoms -- because even after today, Congressional Republicans will continue to attack the right to choose.
