SCOTUS HAS OFFICIALLY OVERTURNED ROE V. WADE

John, this is a devastating day for our country. Americans have been officially stripped of their right to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions and receive abortion access.

The Supreme Court’s decision bans abortion immediately in the 13 states with trigger laws, and up to 10 additional states are expected to follow.

Connecticut is and will always be a safe haven for people who need an abortion, and right now, we have to fight so that everyone — regardless of the state they live in — has access to this fundamental right of reproductive healthcare.

Here at Connecticut Democrats, we are working hard to elect pro-choice candidates at the federal levels who have proven their legislative commitment to codify abortion rights into U.S. law.

Right now, we need volunteers to support our organizing efforts and turnout a record number of voters for pro-choice candidates in November.

From knocking on doors to making phone calls, we need folks like YOU to join us in this critical effort: Click here if you’re interested in volunteering with us, and we'll follow up with more information: [[link removed]]

If we can keep the Democratic House majority and expand representation in the Senate, we could codify Roe on day one of the 118th Congress. To do this, we need a strong team willing to fight to regain reproductive rights and elect Democrats right here in Connecticut.

We must keep extremists out of Congress to fight the Supreme Court's devastating decision.

Let's work together toward a better future.>> [[link removed]]

We can do this.

In solidarity with all,
