The Supreme Court just overturned Roe v. Wade, sending the right to choose — which has been enshrined in our legal system for almost 50 years — back to the states.

This is a dark day for our rights. Tennessee is just one of many states across the country where a trigger ban will go into effect, immediately banning abortion statewide.

This isn’t about life. This isn’t about justice. This is about controlling people’s bodies. A radical minority in this country is doing everything they can to take away our rights and tell us how to live.

We need leaders here in Tennessee that will fight for reproductive rights and healthcare. I promise that when elected to Congress, I’ll do everything I can to protect that fundamental right.
