I won’t mince words: today’s decision disgusts me.

The Supreme Court has officially overturned Roe v. Wade, putting an end to 5 decades of legal precedent and jeopardizing reproductive freedom for women all over the country.

Let’s be clear, this decision will not stop abortions, only safe ones. Unfortunately, anti-choice Republicans don’t care about the real-life consequences this decision will have on our country.

But this fight isn’t over. Our rights are on the line, and not just to safe reproductive care. We have to fight to protect our right to privacy and bodily autonomy. And the only way to do that is by sending leaders to Congress who are ready to step up and defend them.

I’ve never been afraid to fight for our rights, and I’ll keep working until women in this country have the protections of Roe codified into law.

But I can’t do this without your help. I’m facing my first GOP, anti-choice challenger in over a DECADE in one of the toughest election years in recent history.
