I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm not. The Supreme Court officially overturned Roe v. Wade, and with it went any national protections securing our right to abortion.

I'm angry. Really angry.

And seeing anti-choice Republicans like Mike Garcia and his Republican allies openly celebrate this attack on our bodily autonomy?

I will not let this news or this anger hold me back. I’m ready to fight back harder than ever, and I need you to join me. Let’s turn this anger into action and work even harder to protect our right to choose.

I know this news is infuriating. And if you're in Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, or any of the nine other states with trigger laws to ban abortions on the books, it's utterly terrifying.

Do not be fooled, self-proclaimed moderate Mike Garcia has fought against reproductive rights in the past – going so far as to co-sponsor extremist legislation that bans all abortion and some contraception. And he will gladly do it again if he is re-elected.

I promise you this: I will never stop fighting so long as child-bearing people are at risk of becoming second-class citizens. I will never stop fighting for the right of every single person to choose if, when, and how they become a parent.
