john,
The Supreme Court just issued their decision in the Mississippi abortion case — and it’s exactly as bad as we feared. They have officially overturned Roe v. Wade.
This is the first time that a fundamental freedom has been revoked in American history – and I’m outraged.
Now that federal abortion protections are gone, state constitutional officers like myself have an increasingly important role in upholding critical access in women’s health care. And Republicans’ nominee for Nevada Attorney General, Sigal Chattah, has said she wants to prosecute and imprison women who seek out an abortion.
Her comments were outrageous at the time, but are now outright dangerous.
Nevadans deserve better than Scary Sigal Chattah. They deserve a champion, now more than ever. So let me be extremely clear: I will ALWAYS support a woman’s right to access reproductive health care.
We can’t allow Scary Sigal Chattah and her radical views get anywhere near the Attorney General’s office, especially not now. I’m asking you personally, john: Can you dig deep and contribute any amount to my race?

This is not the end of the fight. We suffered a major loss today, and this is a dark day for our country, but I’m not giving up. There will be many tough battles ahead, but I’m ready to fight for reproductive justice. And I’m asking you now to step up and fight alongside me.
The road will be long and hard, but I’m committed to winning so we can keep moving Nevada forward.
Thanks,
Aaron
