It happened, JOHN.
Today, the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade and stripped away the rights and autonomy of half the U.S. population.
I’m scared for our most vulnerable, for the women who will die from this decision and the countless others whose lives will be forever changed.
I’m fearful for the Black and Brown women and poor women who’ll bear the brunt of this tragedy — facing terrible decisions when they can’t miss work or travel to states where abortion is still legal.
I’m saddened by the rollback of 50 years of established rights, increased economic opportunity and self-determination for millions of women across our country.
But most of all, I’m angry.
We must channel this righteous anger into action. Let’s take this anger to the ballot box by electing more progressive, pro-choice women than ever before.
I promise to do everything in my power to protect our right to abortion and guarantee access in the 4th District and across the nation. I will fight back against the radical right-wing movement that has stacked the law and the courts against us.
Will you make a donation to our campaign so that we can channel our anger into action in Congress?
In solidarity,
Donna
