Hello,
The Supreme Court just handed down their decision in Dobbs vs. Jackson.
This decision means is that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade,
and ended the constitutional right to abortion.
Overturning Roe sets this country
back decades—and it will immediately put the health of millions around the
country at risk. This isn't a fluke case; this is the product of a
decades-long plan led by Mitch McConnell to stack the court with
anti-choice justices. We need to act right now by codifying the right to
abortion to guarantee that all Americans have reproductive freedom no
matter their zip code.
This decision means that for thirteen states in our country—Arkansas,
Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma,
South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming—“trigger laws” have
already gone into effect, automatically banning all or nearly all
abortions. More will soon follow suit.

time to codify Roe.

This decision isn’t the end goal for Republicans. If they take control of
Congress, they’ll try to pass a nationwide abortion ban. The stakes of
this November’s elections couldn’t be higher. Let me be clear, if I’m
elected to the Senate I will vote to abolish the filibuster in order to
pass federal abortion protections.
This is why I’m running for U.S. Senate—to work in the best interest of
the people and to protect our constitutional rights.
[ [link removed] ]We can’t afford to give up. If we do, the GOP will win. So, are you
with me? Add your name to
tell the Senate to codify Roe right away.

Together,
