It happened. Today six justices on the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Their act, which disregards 50 years of precedent, will have harmful consequences for women across the country.

Like you, I’m outraged. We should be mad, but I’m also asking you to take action.

The upcoming November elections will be the most important in our lifetimes when it comes to protecting women’s rights. We must vote like we’ve never voted before to support candidates who will defend reproductive freedom and codify Roe v. Wade into law.

That’s why I’m asking you to split a donation between myself and EMILY’s List, the leading national organization for electing pro-choice women. Your contribution will power my work to protect a woman’s right to choose in the U.S. Senate and will help elect more pro-choice candidates to office.

The fight ahead of us is a long one. The best thing we can do is start working now.
