BREAKING NEWS: SUPREME COURT OVERTURNS ROE V. WADE
John — moments ago, the conservative majority on the Supreme Court stripped millions of women of their reproductive freedom by overturning Roe v. Wade.
By ruling in the Republican Mississippi attorney general’s favor in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the court has taken away the freedom for women to make their own health care decisions.
Now, GOP legislators in states across the nation have Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett’s blessing to further restrict — or outright ban — the right to an abortion.
The stakes of the November election just increased tenfold. Not only do we need to codify Roe v. Wade into law, but we also need to make sure Mitch McConnell and his GOP allies do not pass a nationwide abortion ban in the Senate.
